About Liam
Liam Carney has taught KS3 to KS5 Maths in England for 12 years, including roles as Second in Department for KS5 Maths and Head of Maths.
He started Next Level Tuition because he wanted to help more students feel confident and competent in Maths. His teaching is calm, thorough and encouraging, with a strong focus on making difficult ideas feel accessible.
Longer term, Liam’s vision is to support as many students as possible on their Maths journeys.

Liam supports KS3 through to KS5 — that’s GCSE (Foundation and Higher) and A-level Maths. In-person small-group classes in Swindon focus on KS4, while online groups cover KS3 and Year 11, and limited 1-to-1 is best suited to A-level students.
Yes. You can book a £50 one-off trial for online classes through the online enrolment page, so your child can experience a session before committing to a term.
Online classes can be taken as a £50 one-off trial, a termly enrolment of £400, or £100 a month at the start of each month. For in-person and 1-to-1 availability, email Liam and he’ll talk you through current options.
Yes. All online sessions are recorded for safeguarding and quality, and 1-to-1 online lessons should take place with a parent or guardian nearby. Liam is Enhanced DBS checked. Full details are in the safeguarding policy.
